Thank you for the interview with the SL radio providers, I am either a full owner or co owner of busineses in SL, and will be a paid advertiser on IRMG radio and host at Wild and Crazy Coconut in SL. I am a firm believer in supporting internet radio, I have played MMORPGS such as WOWand EQ2 and would play internet radio as I was playing...thank you for bringing these radio stationd together and I look forward to other interviews on this subject

The doomsday sayers have driven me bonkers. Mark Kingdon in my opinion did alot of good at the helm, but like any CEO his talents and skillset might have been good for one direction. A new direction begs new leadership and resources.

I'm not particularly concerned with who has the helm in the interim. I'd rather they took their time and found someone who is going to have the kind of impact that residents want. Phil is easy on the eyes and I don't mind staring at his mug until they figure out their best heading... ~ Skylar

I may be on vacation but by the miracle of modern technology (Motorola Droid) I'm able to pick up news - provided I turn the phone on. I'd bet that "did he fall or was he pushed?" can be answered by "more like shoved." Whatever the targets agreed upon by the Board of Directors and shareholders were, it would appear LL missed them - why else the big shake-up. And ultimately the CEO gets the blame. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, this sort of shuffling goes on all the time in the business world and Linden Lab is a business like any other.

Oh, and before MBC has a more detailed post-mortem... sorry, discussion... here's an interesting statistic from an April 2010 marketing report on the status of Linden Lab: Only 1% of registered users actually pay for Premium membership. You have to think that running a business where 99% of your customers don't pay for the services you offer might be a teeny weensy bit challenging...
