About the film Login2Life:

Login 2 Life portrays people who have found an alternate home in an online world. This is the starting point of a journey into fascinating virtual realities, meeting diverse human beings in different parts of the world who have one thing in common – they are savvy in using virtual worlds as an extension of their real lives. The film premiered on German ZDF October 17th before heading onto the international festival circuit.

Education 2.o   

Dissatisfied with a recent PBS Frontline piece on the “Digital Nation”, Mr. Despres went to Second Life & was impressed how teachers in the trenches use technology to transform American education. Draxtor thought we were doomed, but now – optimism has returned!

Virtual Videos for Social Good   

Machinima is real-time animation using games and virtual worlds. NYC based Global Kids have enriched the art-form with their social issue work, all created in Teen Second Life. Draxtor Despres talked to participants and staff at GK as well as enlightens us with some machinima history and….the FUTURE….
